I have written two different books for two different age groups. The Benny Bumble adventures are for ages 2-5 years old, whilst Deeds of Trouble is a medieval Mystery for ages 10 to 12 year olds.
Benny Bumble Bee is a colourful bright picture book with illustrations by Lucy Smith and tells the adventures of a large Bee called Benny and his friend Betty. These books are ideal for bedtime stories or to help younger children with reading. The illustrations make them fun and easy to follow.
Deeds of Trouble is designed for older children (although adults can read it as well) and was first thought of some 20 years ago! The basic plot was written and has taken many years of working out and re-writing. I am now writing the next exciting adventure involving the main characters!
I have always been interested in English history and in particular the middle ages which is a fascinating time period. Living in Peterborough I enjoy researching local history. Whilst the characters are fictional the time periods and places are real.
